Member Benefits

THEF is a local chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) serving central and northeastern North Carolina. Our membership is comprised of over 600 local healthcare executives interested in meeting healthcare professionals and sharing their experience and solutions to use in their day-to-day business environment. Current members work in a variety of settings including hospitals, physician practices, IPA’s, health plans, consulting firms, pharmaceutical companies, technology development firms, nursing homes, state/county health departments, universities and other areas of the healthcare industry.

  • Local chapter membership is included as a benefit to all members of ACHE. Only ACHE affiliates are eligible to hold membership in chapters.

  • You are a member of THEF if you are a member of ACHE in the THEF chapter service region.

  • Membership in THEF is AUTOMATIC and FREE when you join ACHE or move to the chapter service region from another ACHE chapter area. No separate application or fees are needed, and you are automatically added to THEF’s news and mailing list.

Non-members are welcome to attend chapter events. If you would like to be added to the chapter’s non-member mailing list to be notified of future programs and events, please subscribe.


We encourage new members from outside traditional hospital employers, such as insurers/managed care organizations, consulting groups, group practice management, current students of health administration programs, etc.
